12 Best Cheap Sectionals 2023 — Affordable yet Chic Couches

We may earn commission from links on this page, but we only recommend products we love. Promise.

We did the savvy shopping for you. (Because we love ya!)

When your style screams "expensive" but your wallet screams "empty," furniture shopping can be...an overwhelming experience. It's just not fun to fall head-over-heels in love with adorable things you can't afford, ya know? Especially when you're shopping for a major purchase you know you're going to use all the time—like, I don't know, a sectional sofa? (Lol, you clicked on this article for a reason, right?!) But let me be the first to tell you: hope is out there!

There are plenty of couches that are chic and also cheap—it just takes a little bit of digging to find your needle in a haystack. But good things are worth fighting for, and I took it upon myself to battle on your behalf, scouring the internet for the best of the best. And I don't want to be too dramatic, but I think I might have done an incredible job? Scroll down and see for yourself.

Below, you'll find 12 luxe-looking sectional sofas that are really freakin' inexpensive, from sites you already love to shop, like Amazon and Wayfair. All but two of them are under $600, and three of them are actually under $400(!). If you've ever shopped around for a couch, you know those are some damn good prices. Sooooo, yeah! You're welcome! Happy lounging, xoxo.

What's better than one chaise lounge? Twoooo chaise lounges. (I hope you read that to the tune of that cover girl TikTok sound.) This U-shaped four-seater will keep you and your partner from fighting over who gets the chaise side on movie nights—because there's one for each of ya! The cushions are also filled with memory foam padding, so you might just end up sleeping there when the movie's over.

Can't decide whether you want a sofa with a right-side chaise or a left-side chaise? You don't have to think about it with this reversible cutie. The chaise pops right off and can be attached to either end of the couch depending on your needs. This is great for when you're moving homes or even just moving the couch to another room—you can always rest assured it'll fit the new space. It's also one of the more ~petite~ options on this list, which, if you have a tiny apartment like me, is always worth noting.

I'm obsessed with this velvet stunner, and not just because it's from our CosmoLiving brand (although, duh, we're confident it's fab if we put our name on it). I mean...the price! Those colors! That super-soft upholstery! You can't go wrong. Believe it or not, the chaise is actually separate from the couch itself—a "floating chaise," if you will—so you can move the piece around and use it as an ottoman if you want to switch things up.

I'm of the belief that leather looks good with pretty much every aesthetic—and that includes faux leather, obv. A well-made leather sectional can therefore be a timeless piece that you'll haul with you through many moves. And this $400 couch from Amazon is it. Perfect for small spaces, this bad boy has a reversible chaise, bolster pillows for extra comfort, and buttery upholstery. The legs are made of solid wood and are taller than many of the other options on this list, so pets and robot vacuums can slide under with ease.

Work-from-home life means that a lot of us are...working from couch. And that's totally fine! But it also means a sturdy sofa is more important than ever. This Walmart find has solid wood legs for durability, seat cushions filled with high-resilience foam, and high-return springs so you never sink too low. Throw one of the included pillows behind your back and your feet up on the chaise, and you'll be good to chill for days. Oh, and there's a cute little pocket on the side to hold your notebooks, laptop, and other important materials when you're done working for the day.

Sure, as "adults" our days of sleeping on sofas may be few and far between, but every now and then you might find yourself spending a night on a friend's couch. And I don't know about you, but my body always seems to pay the price in the days after. If you want to do your girls a favor, invest in this linen sleeper sectional—it's surprisingly cushy and looks good in both couch and bed form. Just pull the tabs attached to the cushions and you'll be ready to host in no time. Bonus: there's storage space under the chaise, which you can use to hold extra blankets and pillows for guests!

If you're anything like me, you feel like you're constantly in need of more storage space in your home. I swear, as soon as I find myself with a free shelf/drawer/hanger, it's occupied again within like, 0.2 seconds. This couch helps solve that problem (while also looking cute and being comfy) because it's got storage built into Every! Single! Seat! That's right, each cushion sits on top of an empty compartment—just pull the fabric tab upwards and it opens with a hinge mechanism. Fill it with whatever you wish, and don't worry about sagging. The cushions are filled with high-resilience sponge so your butt will be treated to the cushiness it deserves.

Dreaming of a creamy white couch (how chic!) but afraid of the inevitable red wine spills on Bachelor Mondays? Understandable. Been there. But I'm here to tell you that you can have it all! This cloud-like couch from Amazon looks like it might be destroyed by pets, kids, and general spillage, but the soft chenille cushion covers are actually machine washable. Beyond that, the couch is also just super frickin' comfy, with high-density foam packed into both the seat and back cushions, which are extra-tall for ~ergonomic~ purposes.

When I look at this photo, all my brain can think is, "Wow, I want to read a book there." This sectional just screams "plush," and I want to be on top of it immediately. The cool thing about this couch is that it's modular, meaning it's completely customizable. Each piece moves independently, including the trapezoidal headrests (which, yes, are as plump as they look). The three-piece option is shown here, but you can also buy the cube-shaped seats individually, as well as in sets of five and seven.

If movie night is damn near every night for you, I've got a sectional with your name on it. This L-shaped couch turns into a full-sized bed in one fell swoop (aka one swift yank), thanks to a strong steel frame hidden under the extra-padded seats. That means you can lounge hard while watching TV—and there's plenty of space to have a couple of people snuggle up beside you. Oh, and because every good movie night requires a good bev, there are also cup holders built into both arms.

Okay, I knowww this pick isn't "cheap," per say, but it's cheaper than a lot of other couches out there, and you really do get what you pay for with this one!!! In addition to looking super luxe (like, you could def convince me this photo is of Kendall Jenner's living room), this sectional is incredibly well-made. The cotton- and linen-blend fabric is soft to the touch, and the composite wood frame and titanium-finished legs are durable as hell. If you invest in this cutie, you're investing in a couch for the long haul. Trust.

You deserve an outdoor space that makes you feel like you're at a five-star resort, and this sectional can make that happen (and for under $350, no less!). You can get creative with this modular pick, which comes in seven pieces (four single sofas, two corner sofas, and one glass-top coffee table) that you can arrange as you please. Each seat is covered with a water- and UV-proof cover that's easy to remove and machine-washable—which is so wonderful because, you know, sometimes things get dirty outside. (BTW, if you're in the market for an outdoor sectional, we've got lots more where this came from.)
